competitive winter box lacrosse

As everyone has seen both on a national and collegiate level, players with a box lacrosse background have a clear advantage over field lacrosse players who have never played indoors. Box lacrosse forces players to:

Make quick decisions under pressure
Shoot and pass more accurately
Improve footwork and overall speed
Maneuver with and without the ball in traffic
Develop both offensive and defensive skills
Generate optimal scoring opportunities
Play an effective multi-man game (i.e. picks)
Become smarter and more physical
Constantly be engaged due to far fewer game stoppages
Generate space away from the play
Be more creative while generating offensive opportunities with and without the ball
And most importantly… have fun!

Novice = 3rd & 4th Grade
Peewee = 5th & 6th Grade
Bantam = 7th & 8th Grade
Midget = 9th & 10th Grade
High School = 11th & 12th Grade

Tryouts

Tuesday - November 1st

6:00pm - 8:00pm = High School

Wednesday - November 2nd

5:30pm – 6:30pm = Novice (CANCELED/REGISTRATION FOR THIS AGE GROUP CLOSED)

6:30pm – 7:30pm = Peewee

7:30pm – 8:30pm = Bantam

8:30pm – 9:30pm = Midget

Wasatch Winter Invitational – January 27-29 – Draper, Utah
Western Invitational – February 4th & 5th – Phoenix, Arizona

Special event

Scrimmage against Jr Panthers LC - February 11th - Dickies Arena- Forth Worth TX

Impulse Box Teams will play during the day and then attend the professional NLL game in the evening - Panther City LC vs The Vancouver Warriors
